Warning: Like in most Latin America, travelers should be alert to potentially dangerous situations. Guatemala's larger cities can be dangerous after dark. When to go
The year round is a good time to travel here, but you can choose between the dry season, from December to mid-march and the wet season, from April to November.
A nice time to visit this country could be around Easter, near to Semana Santa(Holy Week) in Guatemala. This celebration reaches their best in Antigua, with catholic processions full of color and fervor.
